3D TIMON-MCOOL - Mold Cooling Analysis Module
3D TIMON-MCOOL considers the effects of heat generated from a molded part and deprived by coolant, and escaped into the atmosphere and mold machine through mold walls for balanced cooling. It predicts temperature distributions for a given cavity and mold. The results are used to minimize unbalanced cooling by making changes to processing conditions, such as cooling channel layout, coolant temperature, and flow rate.
